I read through quickly. "Shit.They arrived an hour ago? The chief is gonna kill me if he knows about this." I whispered. "Just go now!" Sara said. "How do I look?" I asked. "So hungover." She giggled.I laughed back and ran towards the patient's ward. I usually have patients walk into my office but I forgot about the new patient that was admitted here. I was a physiotherapist.So I was always part of many cases. However, I was praying that this whole case doesn't come over me. Oh I should never go clubbing when there is work the next day.I sighed. I knocked on the door and walked inside. A man was on the bed.He had a little girl on his right and then there was his wife. "Hi.I am Dr.Elena Alvarez." I smiled. I read his charts again. "Mr.James Redfield.Is it?'' I asked. "Yes." He replied. "According to your test results,you have a really serious case of frozen shoulder." I responded. "Is it curable? He can't even move his left arm." His wife said, almost cried. "Yes,it is curable but it will take time." I whispered. "How long?" She asked. "Well,it depends.In the worst case,I can say more than a year or so." I replied. "Please fix him." She held my hands all of a sudden. "Adele, please let the doctor talk." He said sweetly to his wife. "It's alright.'' I said in response. "I will try my level best." I added. I walked towards James Redfield.He had this manly scent coming off of him.I was so distracted. "Doctor?'' He called out. "Yes,yes...Um...may I?" I asked. "Of course." He replied. I touched his arms and shoulder. "Can you move your arms?" I asked. He tried to move but let out a cry in the end. "It pains so much." He said. "It's alright." I whispered. I held his arms and tried to move his arms. "Oh,god.Don't." He said.I let go of his arms. "I am sorry.I can't." He said. "It's alright,Mr.Redfield.You are going to be just fine soon." I smiled. "Will daddy be okay?" The beautiful little girl asked me. "Yes,your daddy will be okay." I whispered. I stood straight and turned to them. "I will schedule a physiotherapy session.I will let you know the schedule,timings and everything.Also I will put you in a private care unit.You know the virus is spreading." I explained. "Mrs.Redfield,If you both consider on admitting to the hospital,well then,there are some conditions needed to be fulfilled." I explained. "What conditions?" She asked. "You can only meet him every seven days.No children allowed in the hospital.We can't risk infecting more people." I said. "These rules apply if you admit him." I added. "Is there any other alternative?" She asked. "Well,if you don't admit him,then,you can come to my office everyday to attend the physiotherapy sessions but as I hear,the city will be in a lockdown so no outsiders will be allowed." I said. They both looked at each other. "You guys think.Let me know when you've made up your mind." I said. I walked out of the ward and went to the cafeteria. I grabbed a coffee and sat down massaging my head. "Elena!" Sara called as she quickly sat beside me. "How was the patient?" She asked. "What do you mean how was he? Dude got the worst case of frozen shoulder." I replied. "No,I mean did you see him? He was so damn hot." She said. "Sara,stop.He is married." I said. "Is something burning?" She asked. "What could possibly be burning in a cafeteria?" I asked. "No,I am smelling some jealousy on you." She said. "Sara! He is my patient!" I gasped. "And he is married." I added. "And you are jealous!" She tapped my nose. "I knew him for like ten minutes.Why on earth would I be jealous of someone I don't even know?" I asked. "You are his main doctor so brace yourself princess." She winked.I rolled my eyes. He was really handsome but I couldn't take a step because he was taken. James POV "What are you thinking?" Adele asked. "What should I do?" I asked.I didn't want to be away from my wife and my daughter. "Daddy, don't leave me alone." Zoey cried.She made tears form in my eyes. "Daddy will always come back,Zoey.Daddy needs to heal first right?" I asked. "But who will take me to get ice cream?" She asked. "Mommy is there.I will be back in few days,zo." After the decision was made,we called Dr.Alvarez again.She walked into the ward wearing a tight black dress that reached upto her knees.Over that she had her long white, coat. She wore high heels and her legs were just perfect. She looked like something divine. A doctor shouldn't be looking that hot. Moreover,I shook my head as I felt disgusting about myself. My wife was the most perfect woman in the world.I whispered to myself. "Mr.Redfield." A voice called out to me.I looked up and saw Dr.Alvarez smiling at me. "We are gonna need you to sign some papers.We will be getting your private ward ready." She said.She was really comforting but she wasn't supposed to be my doctor.She was young and beautiful. I took the papers and read them quickly before signing. "Thank you." She replied warmly and walked out of the ward. "She is really nice, don't you think?" Adele asked. "I guess.I never like doctors.They lie all the time to get money." I rolled my eyes. "They don't lie.They tell you what the possibilities are." She said.How kind she was.She would support everyone so much. "I just hope to be fine soon.I want to spend all my time with you and zo." I said as I placed my hand on her cheek. "You will be fine, honey.Everything is going to be fine." She replied. "Daddy,daddy!'' Zoe pulled my shirt. "Yes,zo." I looked at her. "When you will be fine, promise that we will go to picnic together?" She asked. "I promise we will,zo." I smiled. "And I promise you too, beautiful." I said to Adele.
