26 - She's insane!

2229 Words
Hawk The room is silent. Deathly silent. Each person is looking from Shepard to Nova. He’s pissed and then some with her and what she’s done. I’m not happy with Nova for dragging Brooke with her, but I’ve calmed down a little, knowing she’s okay. However, I still have a sick feeling in the pit of my stomach. Anything could have happened to those women tonight. The utter fear I had inside of me when I read the text message from Nova, the yelling coming from everyone in the room, and the way the Prez yelled that no one could follow because we couldn’t get in the way of Nova when she was working... Jesus, I’ve never felt so angry and scared in my life! I have no doubt in my mind that Nova knows exactly what she’s doing or that she’s good at what she does. I have every faith that she’s taught Brooke well when it comes to self-defense and that she can handle herself. Brooke worked damn hard the past couple of months with her training. If she was attacked in the street, I have no doubt Brooke would remember her training and fight back. She’d hurt the motherfucke.r enough to bring him down and run for help. However, tonight, she was thrown into a situation with a man who would have killed her the second he saw her. Brooke would have stood no chance against a man like Click. He’s not the kind of man who asks questions before he shoots. If he’d seen the girls, they’d be dead now. I don’t think Nova even realizes or cares at this point. In her mind, Alison and Brooke weren’t hurt; no one saw them, and Click didn’t find out they were there, so why the hell are we all angry with her? “Dad, please stop giving me the evil eye.” “You could have gotten Brooke and Alison killed! What would have happened had Click seen you?!” Nova doesn’t even flinch when Prez yells. She licks her top teeth and swallows. She looks over at Tank sitting opposite her and smirks. Nova acts like she takes nothing seriously, but I guarantee this is very serious in her mind. “Do you honestly think I would have thrown them into danger?” No one answers, which annoys Nova because she grits her teeth. “When I walked in here and saw Alison, I introduced myself as I always do to anyone new. I asked her why she was crying. Alison told me and the others how scared she was that something would happen to Teddy before the day was out. She said that you were all in here working things out, but she didn’t think she had long left before something terrible happened to that little boy. “I told Alison who I was and that I’d go get Teddy for her. She first told me no and thought she should wait for you guys. I explained that I’d be in and out and back here faster than you guys could blink. Alison agreed because, like any other mother in this world, she just wanted her son to be with her. “I did knock on the damn door so that I could tell you what I had planned, but you yelled for whomever it was to leave,” I remember the door knocking while we were deep in conversation, and Shepard did tell them to go away. “I had no intention of taking Alison with me, but she begged me to take her. She said Teddy would be scared because he doesn’t know me. I made sure that Alison knew to wait in the car, and if I wasn’t back in fifteen minutes, she was to take the car and come back here. No exceptions.” “And Brooke?” Shepard asks. “I forgot for a moment that I promised to pick Brooke up from work. I only remembered when I drove past the restaurant. So, I went back for her. I could have asked someone else to pick her up, but she’d have been waiting there for God only knows how long. I didn’t have time to take her home. “Look,” Nova shifts in her seat. “It is what it is. They were both fine waiting in the car, which I parked in the shadows so it couldn’t be seen. I had Click’s house watched until I arrived.” Because the girl has spies everywhere. “I would have been informed if he had company. I also had people waiting in the shadows. No one would have gotten close to my car had they seen it without being taken out.” “So that makes it alright, does it?!” “Calm down, Dad,” Shepard growls at Jett. This is getting us nowhere! The point won’t be driven home when it comes to Nova; she did what she thought was right. Even though I could throttle her, Brooke is safe. Alison and Teddy are safe and away from the Dirty Coyotes and the shi.t they put them through. We have more important things to deal with now than what Nova did. Things like making sure those assholes don't come here looking for trouble. We know we’re going to have a fight on our hands with Click. He’ll want his daughter back. He’ll want revenge for Teddy going missing. He knows who the kid’s father is, so this is the first place he’ll look. We need our minds on what’s to come, not what has passed. “I did what I did because I am a mother who would do anything for her children. Just as every mother would. Alison just needed help getting her son back before something bad happened to him. I gave her that help.” Shepard narrows his eyes when Nova gets out of her seat and reaches into her inside jacket pocket. She throws a plastic box on the table. “One less thing for you to worry about.” Jett takes the box and opens it. No one can see what’s inside, but from the look on Jett’s face, it’s not a cupcake. “What the hell did you do?” The box makes the rounds, giving us all the opportunity to see the contents. It reaches me, and I look inside. Eyeballs. Teeth. President’s patch. Tattooed skin bearing the Dirty Coyotes logo. She killed Click! “I took out the problem. Click’s body will never be found. My men are cleaning away the mess. There won’t be any evidence left behind.” “You destroyed him.” I look at Shepard. I’m not sure if he’s disgusted or awed by his daughter right now. Nova shrugs. “What about Alison’s mother? She was an innocent, Nova.” “Click and Teddy were the only ones in that house, Kong. Both were asleep. Click was dead before he had the chance to open his eyes. Before I grabbed Teddy, I checked the house for signs of anyone else. There were none, Kong.” The poor woman is probably already dead. “You have all you need to confront the Coyotes. They’ll be vulnerable right now with their Prez gone. Do with it what you will. I’m going home to my babies. I’ll see you there later, Tank. I love you.” “I love you, too.” Once Nova is out the door, Shepard asks, “Who needs guns and ammo when we’ve got weapon Nova?” I’m not sure it’s a question, but it has us all laughing. “If I know my daughter, she will have thought of everything, so I know this won’t come back on the club. However, we still need to figure out what to do about the Coyotes now that Click is out of the picture.” “Maybe we should call Trigger and invite him to come in and talk.” Coyotes VP, Trigger, may just be as bad as Click. Those assholes have no morals whatsoever. Inviting Trigger here will not end the way Jett thinks it will. “Red, BlackJack, stay behind, I need a quick word. The rest of you, go home and get some rest. We’ll deal with this tomorrow. Be back here at 8 AM. I want this shi.t dealt with ASAP. Kong, make sure your family is out of the way tomorrow; I don’t want the Coyotes to catch a glimpse of them. We don’t want to give them any more of a reason to start a war.” “Prez.” The gavel crashes down on the oak table, and I can’t get out of there fast enough. * * * I watch Brooke combing her hair after blow-drying it. She hasn’t spoken a word since we left the clubhouse. When I told her my parents were keeping Gabriel for the night, she nodded and said nothing. I had thought she’d decline the offer and want to collect him. So, when she didn't, I was a little shocked. However, Brooke did want to see Gabe, so we popped in so she could cuddle him. As soon as we got home, Brooke went up to shower. I showered after her, only taking a couple of minutes. I’m a man; I don’t need to be in there for an hour. Now, I’m watching Brooke climb into bed in nothing but panties and a Cami top. Brooke leans her head back against the headboard and stares at me. I stroke her face with the back of my hand. Like lightning, she straddles my waist, her lips fused with mine, kissing me with a hunger I didn’t know she possessed. She pulls away long enough to release my aching coc.k from my boxers, slip her panties to the side, and impale herself onto me. Fuc.k! Frantically, she rides me. I wrap my arms around her back, crossing them over her shoulders and pulling her down harder, feeling myself slip deeper. Brooke throws her head back, and I bite her neck. Her puss.y grips me so tight I can feel her walls crushing my dic.k. Brooke is filled with adrenaline from earlier, and that’s why she’s riding me like a damn rodeo, but shi.t, you won’t hear me complaining. I won’t last much longer; I’ve never been so turned on in my life! Brooke and I have always had fantastic chemistry and an incredible se.x life, but never have I known her to be this rampant. I fuckin.g love it! Brooke moans loudly, slamming her mouth against mine, and she cum.s so hard she draws my orgas.m out at the same time. Jesus fuckin.g Christ, I’m grunting through it, and slamming into Brooke, spilling everything I have inside of me into her. She cheekily laughs against my mouth. I smile and kiss her some more. “Well, that was unexpected.” My beautiful Brooke lifts enough for me to slip from her body but stays straddling my waist. Her arms are wrapped around my neck, and my hands hold her hips. “Are you complaining, Mr. Anderson?” “You’ll never hear me complaining, baby.” “I'm sorry I was so quiet before. I had so many emotions rushing through me, I didn’t know how to handle them.” Brooke is a strong woman; everything she went through with her father is proof of that. However, Nova is tactless and forgets that others aren’t as mentally strong as she is. They definitely aren’t as sick-minded as she is. I don’t think most men are. Regardless of the fact, Nova had Brooke wait in the car and told her nothing of what she had done to Click. Brooke knows, as well as the rest of us, just what Nova is capable of. My girl knows it wouldn’t have been a simple in-and-out job. A vile cunt lived in that house. Of course, Nova would put an end to him. “I was a little shocked by what Nova did, but I understood why.” “You got turned on by it?” I narrow my eyes. That doesn't sound like Brooke at all. She laughs loudly and shakes her head. “I was turned on by you, and how mad you were that Nova dragged me with her.” I raise my eyebrow, and she groans. “That makes me sound crazy, doesn’t it?” “No. Not at all.” “Does it make me weird?” Brooke squeals as I flip her off of me, pressing her into the mattress and leaning over her. She looks up at me and strokes my face. “You’re not weird, Brooke. Do you have any idea how much I love you?” She nods. “As much as I love you.” It isn’t long before I’m inside of her again. We fuc.k all night, her puss.y, her ass, her mouth. I take her every which way possible because I don’t know what tomorrow will bring. I don’t have a clue if I’ll come home alive. Those sick fucker.s could turn on us at the drop of a hat. Not if we can help it, but shi.t happens. I just hope Shepard is prepared, really prepared, for what might be coming our way.
