“Yes,” she nodded, “I did”
“Then you should know how I feel right now,” Leah smiled sadly, “It doesn’t help that Nina here is such a loving child. Even if I wanted to hate her, I couldn’t.”
“You are very nice,” another girl said and others nodded their heads in agreement.
And before you know it, Nina's party turned into a support ceremony for Leah and she made sure that they knew she was aware of their positions, names and so on. When it was time for them to leave, they started thanking her for everything.
Leah felt content and was smiling genuinely. Although she noticed a few people still hovering around Nina. But this wasn't something she could change.
