A slight breeze blew from the west, moving the trees softly and giving the warm afternoon a delightful tropical feel. Marty and Abby Cardenas held hands as they walked the dirt path through the park. Flowers and wild grasses bloomed all around them as birds sang their songs in praise of nature.
