Asselyum walked through the crowd on the streets, drenched in the rain, looking at everyone's attire and hearing their speech, with observed information appearing on her computer screen inside her eyes. She was wearing a metallic gear, which was a staple attire in the 25th century, but not in the 21st century. Everyone stared at her as she walked. Yes, she was another ANDROID. The screen was showing "Step 1- Disguise and blend yourself in." "Well, my clothes burned." She stopped and pressed her fingers into her left ear. "Mik, Norman, Vill. Can you guys hear me?" There was no reply "Am I the only one here?" She said to herself as a woman passed by her. She was dressed in a black top and black synthetic shorts with a leather belt around her waist and a golden chain around her neck. Asselyum held her hands and she turned back. "Can we exchange clothes?" "What?" Asselyum picked her up and walked into the narrow, empty street, soaking up with the city's drainage. "Who the hell are you?" "Remove your clothes," Asselyum commanded as she removed her gear. "What the—I'm calling the police." She picked up her phone and dialled but Asselyum gave her a blow on her head and knocked her out. "Now, it'll be easier." After changing, she moved towards a car. She looked at the car as her eyes glowed brightly. The car unlocked by itself and the doors opened for her. She sat inside the car and found a pair of leather gloves on the dashboard. She wore them and started driving. Her screen had another command 'Step 2- Find your team' "DNA DNS PROTOCOL CALLING; WAITING FOR INFORMATION, CODE 1048 X 777 MODEL-PRE1 COID Prototype 0006. Send details of my team" As she said that, the computer screen in her eyes showed a small list of four people namely- Technician -Lupin Kuznetsov Coordinator- Jimmy Valentine Mechanic- Axel Controller- Slaine The list had all their details and credentials. "Slaine." She said, speeding up the car. She drove at full speed. The speedometer of the car ran from 100 to 120, but suddenly a policeman saw her and blew his whistle signalling her to stop. She applied the brakes immediately. The policeman walked to the car and looked at her for a while, then he said "...Young lady, do you know how fast you were driving? It's very dangerous." He continued his lecture while Asselyum looked at the g*n kept in his pocket. "Show me your license," He had his writing pad in his hand. Her screen had another command 'Escape'. She raised towards him and touched his face "I've got better things to show." "...What?" Slaine; attractive, tall and smart. But he didn't have any chicks on his side because he was homeless like the overwhelming majority — about 95 per cent — of the more than 78,000 million people in New York. He earned some money by playing at the arcade and betting money. He, in fact, was one of the best gamers in the city and people came to that arcade especially to challenge him-- However, nobody could ever defeat him. That morning, Slaine was rushing to the arcade on his skateboard. He reached the usual 'Insert Coins Video Lounge' game bar in the city mall of New York City. He had blue eyes and pink hair, wearing an old hoodie and a pair of worn-out jeans— The clothes that he got a donation for the poor and homeless. He also had a small, gold earring on his left ear, which seemed to have lost its shine over a period of time. He was almost 18 but still had never attended school. His main goal every day was to get food in his belly— Everything else was secondary. As he entered the arcade, everyone shrieked his name. He had the challenger for that day waiting for him. "You are late." He glared at him. Slaine threw the money on the table "It's better to arrive late than to arrive ugly." He smirked. "Whatever, let's start." They sat on the machines and started the game. Slaine always won because of his magnificent strategies, which made his skills so unbeatable. His opponent for the day was a rich fellow who was in a delusion of being the best gamer in New York. He wouldn't come down to this worn out and old arcade if it were not for Slaine. Slaine has put $20 on the bet— That was all he had, while he had put $100 on the bet since he was sure he would win. But as he felt that victory was not his, he grew irritated and Slaine noticed. He was used to this and he had foreseen what was coming. "You can't defeat me!" "Oh, but I am doing that," Slaine smirked. Not even five minutes had passed and Slaine had won already. The audience screamed his name as he collected all the money. "Thank you for playing." He smiled as he held the $100 bill. "I've never lost in this game, ever!" "Great, everyone is new at something." Slaine was done with the game hence he had no intention of staying inside the arcade any longer. He walked out and his opponent followed him. "Alright, you won. Why are you being such an asshole?" He shouted. "Asshole? Don't worry you've already secured that position." "You're so f*****g rude!" Slaine hated rich people and made no effort to hide it. He picked up his skateboard and began heading towards the subway when suddenly a car stopped right before him. He was almost crushed beneath it if he hadn't stopped the skateboard. Asselyum pulled down the glass. "Hey! Can't you see people walking? Stop doing c***k while you drive." He frowned over her while she sat still in the car, examining him through her inbuilt scanner. "Slaine" She called out his name as she got down from the car. He was taller than her. "That's me... You wanna play?" He believed her to be another rich and delusional opponent. Asselyum took out a g*n and pointed it at him. "Nice toy, does it shoot water?" He smirked. "I don't know, let's check it out," She pressed the trigger. The bullet slightly missed Slaine's neck and passed right beside him, breaking the glass window of the arcade. Upon hearing the bullet's sound, people began shouting and running in all directions creating chaos. "Seems pretty real to me. Though it's no match for a runblaster." She looked at the g*n. "What the hell! Are you insane?! It's obviously real! Do you want to kill me?" "Not yet," "What do you mean 'not yet'? What the hell do you want from me?" She inserted the g*n in Slaine's mouth. "I want you." "Whagt che her aru talkin' gout?" (What the hell are you talking about?) "Work with me. Be my controller." Slaine pushed the g*n away "Sorry missy, don't get me wrong—You're cute and stuff but currently I'm not into relationships so don't bother." "...Is that so? Too bad" She pointed the g*n at Slaine "If you can't be useful to me, you are useless for this world," And then she shot. Slaine dodged it and began running "You're insane! That was so close!" "Close to what?" Asselyum asked as she ran after him. "Death!" "Bingo!" "What the—Didn't you like me a second back?!" "That's why I'm doing this." He turned to the narrow, stinking lanes of New York. He ran until he met a dead end. She stood right behind him. "Please leave me. I don't have anything to give you." She looked at him "Then, is that d**k for decoration." "What the—" He covered his crotch with his hands "Are you some sort of a professional p*****t having a weird fetishism? I'm not here to be an escort to some rich woman!" "You do have the face though." "Shut up!" She picked him up on her shoulders and jumped up to the terrace. "What are you?! Put me down!" Slaine struggled as she ran but it was hopeless. They reached the basement of a bar. She threw him on the floor and he glared at her. He looked around. "Why are we here?" He asked. "Can you work on computers?" She asked. "Of course I can. I'm a pro gamer, bruh!" "The computer which I'm gonna show you is something way beyond your IQ" "Listen, let me go. You're f*****g creepy— You're not even my type—" She thrust the g*n into his mouth "Say that again." "You're okay looking..." "Good boy." She took out the g*n from his mouth and kept it into her pocket. "But why are we here? You just brought me here without telling me anything! And where did you get that g*n? You look too young to have bought it by yourself." "Isn't it obvious that it's not mine?" "Don't tell me you stole it." "Like I would ever steal. I borrowed it from a policeman." "And he just happily gave it to you!?" "When did I say I happily borrowed it? I took the simpler method. I killed the man and took the gun." "How is that a simpler method?! You killed a policeman—What are you, a terrorist?!" "You just answered yourself," "Somebody help me!" He shouted for help but nobody came. "I wish more people would be fluent in silence." "You are a f*****g psychopath. Don't tell me I'm spending the rest of my life in this basement?" "I'll keep you happy." "Somebody help me!" "Hey," She turned back as she held a rope "You don't mind if I tie you up, right?" 'I'm really getting some very rapey vibes from her.' -To be continued
