I'm parked outside Dainy's door with the convertible. It was an eighteenth birthday present from my parents, it’s my dream car. The BM is basically brand new. I didn't take it to school yesterday and I've driven it a handful of times since I got it. Nobody besides my family and Lucan has been in it. Everybody at school knows that, including Dainy. When I was getting the keys for the Rover this morning, I recalled Dainy's words, she wanted more than kisses. I'm hoping when she sees the black Machine, she’ll know that I'm serious about making things work and giving this relationship thing a go. Blame by Calvin Harris starts playing from the speakers. I put it louder knowing it’s one of Dainy's favorites. Yesterday I was a no strings attached guy, now I'm increasing my car volume for a girl, not just any girl though, it's Dainy. After that kiss, all doubts I had was squashed with every moan I got from her. Last night turned out much differently than I planned. My intention wasn't for us to be exclusive right away, but to take her out on a few dates and see how things went. I wasn't exaggerating last night when I told Dainy I'm not going to let someone else take what's mine. I've never been possessive ever, but at that moment I was feeling all kinds of possessiveness toward Dainy. Today when Dainy walks out that door she's walking out taken. I think she already knows that, which is why she's peeping through the curtain of their foyer hoping I’ll leave. That ain't happening, I’m giving her two minutes to get her sweet a*s out here or my next stop would be her front door. I'm an Orniel for f***s sake, doesn't she realize I get what I want, one way or the other. Expecting to see Dainy when the front door opens, I get out of my car, and stop short when Aiden walks out frowning at me. I guess I would be too if the situation was reversed. “What do you want Orniel?” “Just here to pick up Dainy man.” Just as I finish my sentence, Dainy comes trotting out in a high waisted polka dot shorts and loose white linen shirt tucked loosely in the front, hair tied up. Damn if she doesn't look hot. I smile, knowing she made an extra effort for me. “You look very,” I pause, remembering Aiden's around, “nice.” She grins and swings her backpack over her left shoulder, “You don't look too bad yourself. Nice... car.” Aiden clears his throat. Hesitantly, I look at him, my smile dimming, “Hurt my sister and that cars toast, got me.” At least he has balls because no one talks to me in that way. I understand he’s looking out for his sister so I’ll give him this, one time. “Got you.” He rubs his hands on his jeans before digging his keys out. Dainy and I both stand, watching her brother walk to his jeep. He turns just as he's about to jump in and salutes us. That’s Aiden for you, he never gets too involved, which is why he could never had ran Liston Hills Private, those fuckers would’ve eaten him alive and dropped his bones off at the nearest cemetery..
