I honestly could not understand myself as to why, even though I felt scared and threatened whenever Nishimoto was there, I still wanted to know the truth. Normally, I would just leave it like that then cut connections with other people but…I could not force myself to do that to Nishimoto.
Is it because he has been kind and nice to me that I feel a guilty conscience about treating him like that? I thought to myself.
“…Kaya, how much do you know Nishimoto?” I unconsciously asked.
