I woke up to the sound of birds chirping at the window. I tried to get up from the bed till I realized I was still wrapped in Rose's arms.
I looked at the wall clock and it was currently past 10 am. I haven't slept this long in a while.
I smiled as I watched how her face glowed under the morning light. The way the sun bounced of her hair, the freckles on her face, the way her nose scrunched up as she slept.
She was angelic. She was at peace. Peace that I have been longing for.
I wanted to know how to keep this peace forever, to make her a part of me, to keep this glow permanent.
I had mind-linked Enzo to get me her file from her old pack. I wanted to know everything I could about her. Her eyes looked like they were holding a lot of secrets and pain.
