I quickly showered and came down to join Rita in the kitchen.
I felt it was rude to let her do all the cooking alone, I mean she let me stay with her for free so the least I could do was assist her in the kitchen.
"Cute PJs" Rita said as she smiled at me.

"He cares about you, you know. He just has a strange way of showing it"
"Who?" I asked genuinely curious.
"Lucas. He cares about you. It might not seem that way to you but I know he does" she said as she dished out some pasta.
"I honestly doubt that. He keeps reminding me that I am not fit for the role of a Luna. All of a sudden, I find out that the moon goddess Is my mother somehow and he starts acting a bit decent?" I argued.
