I was still red after the kiss I had shared with Lucas earlier. My heart was still doing backflips as he held my hand and led me back home to the pack house.
The feel of my hands in his gave me a feeling of satisfaction I never knew I needed.
I can’t believe I once thought that I was cursed not to have a mate. This right here meant everything to me.
We walked past several pack members who greeted us with slight bows. I watched as they looked at Lucas in admiration which didn’t surprise me. He was their Alpha after all.
Lucas on the other hand maintained a stone face as he responded to their greetings.
