I spoke with my sister and Douglas about my powers.

" I need to test my theory, would either of you agree to be my subjects?" I looked at both of them.

Douglas looked at his wife.

" Ok, I will. What do you want me to do?"

" Ok, here goes." I raised my hand and thought about what I wanted him to feel. I turned my wrist into a circle and threw a static charge at him.

He jumped. "What the heck, you zapped me."

" Where Douglas and how hard did you feel it?"

" Well, it was on my knee and kind of like a static electricity shock. But...let's see." He moved his knee back and forth.

" Pain's gone, I was hurting all day, it's gone." He smiled and walked around testing his knee.

June rubbed her hands together.

" Good, that's where I was sending it." I lied.

" Ok, do me now!" She jumped up and down in her seat.

" You sure now?" I asked, looking into her lavender eyes.

" Oh yeah, hit me!" She smiled at Douglas.

I pictured a wad of sunshine zapping her leg. Warmth and energy.

As soon as I flicked my wrist she moved positions. She fell to the floor moaning and writhing.

"June what is it, did I hurt you?" I knelt beside her. I meant that to go to her leg like Dougy.

She reached out to Douglas.

" Leave us, do it now!" She yelled.

I backed out of the room feeling horrible. " I'm so sorry."

I shut the door and heard her yell. " Ohh Douglas come here, take your pants off now."

I covered my mouth laughing.

" Vampires must be more effected by my magic."

I heard June yell," Damn girl, you got that right."

I forgot about their hearing too.

I sauntered back to my room.

Lucas had cleaned and made the bed. He was folding my clothes.

" Hey love, I'm just cleaning up this room for you. Want to go for a walk after this?" He smiled.

He was acting very...normal. Like a husband, not an un feeling vampire.

We walked down the road to a little park. There were swings there. I sat down and he pushed me.

There was an annoying squeak. I liked it though.

When I got off, he got on.

" Push me really high please." He laughed.

I pushed him as hard as I could, he peaked at the top and flew out as an eagle.

He soared high above me, then swooped down and landed on my arm.

" Wow, I wish I could fly."

He came back to me in human form. Rolling in the grass. I ran to him and sat by him," You okay?" I asked. " I feel fantastic!"

" Hey, we could try paragliding?"

I smiled. " I want you to fly with me, both of us as birds, that's what I meant."

He suddenly stood up and tackled me into the grass.

He kissed my face all over.

" Your so damn cute!"

He lifted my skirt and started to make love to me, in public.

I laughed. He stopped.

" Oh, I guess you need some privacy as a human. As a bird we are free to mate anywhere."

I sat up and hugged my knees.

" I think you are under my enchantment, I don't know how to fix it. You've never been this playful."

" Just tell me to stop and I will." He grinned.

" Ok, stop." I said with my eyes closed.

He jumped up and touched my shoulder. " Never, tag your it!"

He ran around me and into the field. I stood up and ran after him.

I almost had him when he turned sideways and slid away from me.

I tumbled down, then lay still.

He ran to me, "are you okay?"

I grabbed him and yelled,"Tag! Got you!"

He picked me up and raised my skirt. He swatted my butt twice, then rubbed it.

" Your butt is so very fine. It's perfect."

He kissed me there.

I pinched his side. " Lucas, let me go!"

He stood up and threw me over his shoulder, effortlessly.

" Mine." He said.

He took me into the woods and cleared a spot with his foot.

He gently lowered me to the ground. " Let's mate."

I shook my head. " You might get hurt by me."

" No, do that thing you did before, but wait until you had yours first."

I agreed. I was very close to finding my earth shattering pleasure, when he whispered,"Do it now."

I called on the elements and waved my fingers this time, not the whole hand.

Small sprinkles of electricity and warmth, mixed with moisture and some wind to ignite it.

" Boom!" He said softly as he orgasmed, his eyes went back into his head, his fangs were out.

He nibbled my collar, then my neck. I sensed he was about to bite me." Lucas no!" I yelled.

He pushed back away from me.

" Yes my queen. That was very close, I don't know what came over me, that would have been so wrong.

He pushed against me trying to get to my neck.

" No, down boy. If you bitey, bitey then no flighty, flighty. You will get your wings clipped."

I kneeled in front of him and used his nail to prick my thumb.

" Here, just a snack ok?"

He shook his head.

" More, I f**king want it all, let me bite the s**t out of you."

I stood up quickly.

" Wow, that progressed pretty fast. Let's get back to the others."

He loomed over me in true vampire fashion. I saw his eyes go dark, almost black.

His fangs were shining in the dark woods.

He smiled then," Better run love bird. I'm about to eat you up!"

For the first time since I met him, I was truly fearful of his powerful fangs, this monster inside of him.

I sensed if I ran, it would be unleashed on me, I walked to him.

I grabbed him around the waist.

I sang to him our song. Baby of mine. Like he had sung it to me.

I listened to his heart beat as it slowed. He was breathing calmly.

I bared my neck to him as I knelt before him.

" Lucas Moore, I offer you myself body and soul. Take it all, I command you as your queen."

I hoped he would awaken at my command and see what he was about to do. He wanted to chase me, to kill me like prey.

He placed his lips on my neck.

" Kennedy, you better fix me soon. I was close that time. So close. If I kill you, I kill myself.

Come on, let's go talk to the others about our little problem."

I sat there. " Lucas, I gave you a command as your queen, you did not obey me. I believe you just broke the spell honey."

He held my face. " I think you are right. I almost did kill you, but that song, and you kneeling before me, exposing your neck...well it took all the fun out of the hunt. How did you know to do that?"

" Lucas, I have a family of lycans that wanted to kill me before they knew me. Rena herself came to kill me once, I did the same to her."
