Shane pov I’ve been working in the office all day. My mother, Luna scarlet, has been harassing me to find a mate. She has very high expectations of what my mate should be. She has got it into her head that I’d be better off mating with lily instead of waiting for my fated. Lily. Lily is the most condescending person I’ve ever met, she is also more obsessed with money and her looks than anything to do with the pack or being a Luna she just wants the status and power the Luna position will give her, and my bank account, she’s the only wolf I know that gets her nails done, when you shift they come off and I’ve seen even nail polish come off some female warriors when shifting, lily hardly shifts so she doesn’t ‘ruin her nails’ Just yesterday she waltzed into my office and demanded I spend time with her, I was dealing with the aftermath of a rogue attack. I’m an alpha, the alpha of blue moon pack i don’t have time to deal with her, nor do I want to either. She annoys me, my wolf Zane doesn’t like her either, he says she smells like garbage and chemicals, he’s not wrong, any natural scent is covered with the perfume and oils and makeup she cakes on. She wears clothes that are so short I worry when the wind picks up it’ll blow her outfit the rest of the way off. My mother, is insistent she become my luna, my father is with me in my decision to wait but she always has to be right and get her own way, my father hates lily, we know she isn’t Luna material. Mother thinks that aswell but believes she will rise to the position and give her beautiful grand babies. I will not mate with lily, we typically find our mates at 16 but I’m 22 and haven’t found mine, so mother is getting impatient, my fated will come, me and Zane both agreed to wait for her, and that’s what we will do. A few hours later, I’m sitting going through paperwork when I get a mind link that a female has crossed into my territory, I order my guards to bring her to the cells. “Sir, I think she’s human” “Why on earth would a human come into my territory” “She was running from some rouges, there still outside the border I think there waiting for her” “Bring her to me instead then. I want answers” Hayley’s pov I’ve been wandering these woods for almost 2 days, I’m completely lost, i lost my friends camping when some wolves attacked our campsite, I’ve never seen wolves like that before, I’m a human, and 18, I stay near blue moon pack. Even though I’m human I’m stronger, faster, can hear things better and smell the slightest smell compared to everyone else I know. There had never been a wolf in either side of my family, mum said my senses are better because she’s part witch. I have no powers like her, I can’t cast spells or anything like that, but I can make trees grow or flowers, can make vines grow and do what I want, I have a nature power which is very rare and I’ve to keep it hidden, even from my father as he hates everything supernatural. If I cross into the blue moon territory they could kill me on sight. Father always warned me to stay away, in the fight to run from the rogues I forgot my medication in my bag, I don’t even have my phone, dad makes me take some vitamins every morning he says it helps to stop vampires from controlling me or wolves sniffing me out. I can hear twigs and branches snapping so the rogues must be gaining on me and the only option I have is to get onto pack territory. I can see the symbols carved into trees saying I’m close, I pick up speed and run as fast as I can but the rogues must have sensed me as they sound closer than they were a moment ago. As I get closer to the border I see the guards standing watching me, I had no choice and ran straight to them, their eyes widened once they see me going straight for them. I crossed the border and they came at me to stop me. “I mean no harm in just trying to get away from them” and that’s when they spot the 5 rogues behind me and shield me behind them, the rogues weren’t stupid enough to follow me accross. I see there eyes go glossy for several minutes I’m just standing there and then “Your coming with us” and they start dragging me through the forest I try and fight but they were stronger. But that doesn’t stop me, I kick and slap and punch and swing about in all directions I try everything to get out there grasp, but as I’m fighting my head starts to hurt, Im dragged further into the woods and I see a big building in the distance with people coming out to stand infront. They are all looking at me, scrutinizing me, but there’s a man in front, about 6ft taller than my 5.4 frame with bulky muscle that you can tell he works out, gorgeous dark hair that stops at his shoulders, if he wasn’t as scary I’d say he’s quite handsome, I think something wrong with my head, I really need to get to my bag back at the campsite and get my phone to call my father the closer I get to the building the pain increases.I fall to the ground the guards that were dragging me to which I assume is there pack house let go and step back in shock while I’m screaming holding my head. Whispers start going around the people standing at the house, the big man at the front is looking at me with an emotion I’ve never seen before but the girl trying to hold onto him is growling at me as if I’ve stole her favourite candy, This can’t be good I think to myself, then darkness takes me. Shane pov I head outside to great the intruder when my parents and Lilly walk round the corner, lily clings to me, I explain to my parents and lily demands to go with me as the future luna. My parents came aswell as my beta Cameron who was meeting me outside as he was on guard duty and is bringing her here. As we wait I start to smell something amazing, it’s like pancakes, and honey Zane starts shouting mate in my head, I look up and that’s when I see her being dragged to me by my beta and guards, once an alpha meets his mate the whole pack feels it, lily is shaking with anger beside me, the guards let go of her and immediately my mother is telling me I can’t have a human mate, father is happy but not saying a word. My mate doesn’t look to good, and I need to get to her, lily and my mother is trying to stop me my father is trying to stop mother but then we hear a scream as my mate falls to the ground nobody moves or says anything when flowers start to grow all around her, providing a pillow, everyone watches in awe as she starts to glow, her hair changes from a brown to a platinum blonde almost white her skin a few shades darker than before to a beautiful tan almost sun kissed glow.
