"What happened?" Edzel said and then he lifted his head while looking at her. His eyebrows were drawn together and confusion was written all over his face. "What s wrong? Are you okay?"
She bit her lower lip because she didn t know what to say to the man. How would she say what was running inside her head?
It took her a couple of seconds before she was able to answer the man.
"We didn t use any protection. What if I get pregnant again?" She said as her heart started to beat so fast. There were a lot of things that started to come inside her mind. She couldn t afford to have another child to take care of because of Carla s condition and especially with the situation they had at the moment. There were a lot of things that needed to be settled before having another child.
