The next day, Strider strolled into work thirty minutes early. His manager turned and left. Paul’s dour attitude failed to dampen Strider’s high spirits due to dating Ryan. He settled at his desk and prepared for the Webster presentation later in the day. A new email arrived.
Strider, please immediately send all information on the Webster proposal to Lois. She’ll be making the presentation. You’re off the project. Paul.
Strider cursed under his breath, “f*****g bastard!” He jumped out of his chair and stormed toward Paul’s office. Make wise decisions; grow up, shot through his mind. He slowed and returned to his desk. Get it all in writing. He forwarded the project information to Lois and answered Paul’s message:
Paul, I’ve done as you ordered. I’m personally offended and professionally
