Adam slowed when he saw the beat-up van pull in and park behind the old store. He’d only caught glimpses of Mike on the previous days when he’d swung by, but maybe this would be a day to speak to him again. He rolled around to the back and stopped. This time he cut the motor and kicked the stand down on the Harley. Mike clearly did not see him, since Adam had parked on the far side of the van. The other man got out and circled to the rear, then opened the doors. He reached in and dragged a wire cage to the back edge of the van.
