Chapter 5 The rain finally came later that day, fitting to his mood. He’d been haunting the silent rooms of the house with no purpose, aimless, unable to shake the sensation of being out of place. When he visited Uncle Jimmy, he usually stayed for a week, the days filled with a multitude of things, the two of them trying to spend as much time together as possible. Now he was alone with his memories, with regret, and the inescapable grief that followed him around like Roscoe. The two of them made quite the pair, moping around.
