Chapter 15: The Culprit

WHEN I arrived at school on Monday, I got looks from my schoolmates because I was riding a new bike. Everyone knew about what happened, but no one talked about it. I’m not sure if anyone saw or knew who destroyed my bike, but no one seemed to care. When I got to the bike rack, I hesitated before docking the bike. I didn’t want to leave it, but I couldn’t necessarily take it with me to the classroom. I am starting to regret taking the bike to school because whoever destroyed my old bike might do the same thing to this bike. No one else besides Jared and me knows who owns the bike, so I don’t think the bike culprit would care. I looked around, and a few students were looking at me.
