“You got them all, Kendra. It wasn’t that bad, right? You got them fast, too. See, all you had to do was familiarize yourself with the plants. It wouldn’t be that hard. We’ll see next time if your earth powers can make it easier for you to look for specific plants.” Uncle Blaise asked after he had examined the leaves I brought from an hour of searching out in the woods. Brandon was with me, of course, but he was not allowed to coach me. He wouldn’t even help me even when I asked.
“Great!” I exclaimed, thinking I was already off the hook. The palace’s swimming pool had been calling out to me since we arrived for spring break. The weather is still a bit cold but thanks to heated water.
“Now, make an antidote for wolfsbane.”
