Sam POV “It’s so good to see you, son!” Dad engaged me in a huge hug. We were not affectionate before. However, after eight years of not seeing each other, I could not deny him that. “Looking great, Dad,” I said as we sat down opposite each other. As of that moment, everything that I had planned went through smoothly. It was a long drive, but my truck and I made it. It was still the same truck that I bought when I first arrived in Crosswinds.
