"Watch it fatass." Ryan spats as she bumps shoulders with me causing her friends and Ace to laugh along with her.
I roll my eyes at her patheticness and her act as she tries to be cool. For some reason, it works because the whole school loves her and worships her bitchy ass.
"How do you do it?" Bethenny asks as she comes up beside me as I open my locker and grab my binder and textbooks.
"It doesn't bother me anymore. I know what they say isn't true. I've been running and lost a couple of pounds." I say shutting my locker and looking at her as she plays with her brown hair.
"Are you sure it's just running? I mean I haven't seen you eat lunch for at least two weeks." She points out raising a perfect eyebrow at me.
I shrug and look down at the lyrics on my shoes. She doesn't understand what I go throughout school. She's only here for 7 hours and then she's gone and I won't see her until the next day unless we hang out and I'm lucky.
"Alex you need to eat. Please. For me?"
I look up into her eyes and I plead for her to drop this. I don't want to talk about this right now. Especially at school.
"Beth, please drop it. We can talk about this later. Please just let it go."
Beth opens her mouth to speak but I walk away before she can say anything. I push a strand of my dyed red hair out of my face and keep staring at the ground. My natural hair color is brown but after everyone started calling me s**t haired Alex, I dyed it red. Plus I think I like it better red than brown.
"Hey look it's the troll of the school." One of the cheerleaders giggles as I pass her.
I ignore her and keep walking and pull my books closer to my chest. Don't show hurt. That's what they want.
"Hey, troll. Are your feet as ugly as your face?" A jock asks getting high fives from his friends as they laugh.
I see my class up ahead and I quickly walk in away from their stares and laughs and take my seat in the far back far away from everybody else.

"How was school, Alexandra?" My dad asks putting his spoon into his mouth.
"It was good. I aced my Spanish test." I said pushing my peas away from my potatoes.
My parents smile and I continue on pushing my food around, my mom opens her mouth to say something, worry written on her face, but my annoying sister interrupts her from doing so.
"Oh my god. Daddy, you have to help Ace!" Ryan whines and runs to my dad and mom ruining our dinner. Again.
"What is it, Ryan. We are trying to have a nice dinner which by the way you are supposed to join." My dad grumbles out as he doesn't look up from his plate of food.
Ryan rolls her eyes and crosses her arms over her chest.
"Daddy Ace is in jail! We have to get him out!"
My dad shakes his head and my mom stands up from the dinner table and walks into the kitchen.
"Suprise," I say sarcasm laces in my voice.
Ryan shoots me a glare before turning her attention back to my dad.
"Please daddy!! If you don't his parents will find out and send him to military school!"
"That would be good for the boy he needs-"
"Daddy!" Ryan says cutting him odd mid-sentence.
I roll my eyes and pick my plate up and walk into the kitchen. My mom is grabbing her purse and I raise my eyebrow at her.
"Where are you going?"
She jumps before turning around placing a hand on her heart.
"Alex you scared me."
I roll my eyes and throw my plate away and lean against the counter as I watch her grab her keys.
"I'm going to go bail Ace out. I know your father won't do it."
"Yeah because he has a mind."
She scowls at me and kisses my forehead. "You'll understand once you're in love."
I laugh and roll my eyes. "Yeah okay."
She rolls her eyes before walking out of the kitchen. From my spot, I can hear Ryan squeal than a slam of the front door.
I roll my eyes for what seems like the billionth time today and make my way to my bedroom.

I just got done washing my hands from using the bathroom and I open the door to see my sister and Ace in a heated argument. I decided to watch knowing that neither of them has seen me.
"What were you thinking! You are so lucky no one got hurt!" Ryan whisper yells and hits Ace on his chest.
Ace rolls his green eyes and I lean against the wall and watch as they continue on arguing.
Ryan giggles at something before wrapping her arms around Ace's neck and pulling him towards her. I stop learning and decide to go back to my room but Ace catches my gaze. He smiles as his arms wrap around her waist, still looking at me.
"Every time I ran from the cops, I thought of you."
