"Louis!"
I stiffened in Louis's embrace, quietly calling out his name. But all I got in response was the strong and steady beating of Louis's heart. He stared straight ahead, holding me tightly as he walked. Every person we passed respectfully bowed their heads to the noble man. But this did little to ease my tense thoughts because from the corner of my eye, I noticed that Louis's trousers were also taut.
"If you really want to avoid embarrassment, Claire, I suggest you block the view down there rather than bury your beautiful face in my chest."
How could someone have such thick skin? Louis's verbal teasing made me glare at him fiercely, but I obediently followed his instructions, pulling down the hem of my skirt to cover the bulge in Louis's pants.
