HANNAH'S POV
"Why would you be looking for Hannah?"
It's the question I hear mother ask aloud after greeting whoever it is that had knocked on the door.
Maybe it's Kyla who came to thank me for helping her win over Wesley. I hope they are now what she wanted them to be.
When he escorted me home yesterday, I noticed he is the kindest and most stubborn man I have ever met. But never conclude that someone is good or bad on your first meeting. People can pretend to be either and later turn out to be opposite.
"That's for Hannah?" I hear mother ask in a voice that conveys astonishment.
I can't hear the other person's voice nor see them. But I am certain it's Kyla. Because who else would come looking for me so early?
