‘Winter sighed softly after realising how mean he sounded to Riley from the reaction on her face. He didn’t mean to be cold but Onyx's presence had a significant influence on him and unconsciously he had taken it on Riley, especially after everything she’s told him, it was pretty normal for him to react in such a way.
“That’s no way to treat a woman, Oliver, I’m sure Ar-ya taught you better than that” Onyx stood and walked over to Riley who still looked pretty hurt.
“Hello…I’m Onyx, Terran’s mother” Riley’s eyes widened in shock and bewilderment before she glanced from Terran to Onyx and from Onyx to Terran. That’s a pretty normal reaction for humans since Onyx doesn’t look a day over 40 and Terran looked like he was in his early 30s.
“Um…well…I’m Riley…nice to meet you” Riley stuttered
