Riley had a guess, something was wrong even when Kyle was doing his absolute best to hide it and when she saw that glass shattered before he could touch it, it confirmed her doubts but Kyle wasn’t ready to talk about it despite her pleas, insisting he was okay.
“Riley!” The loud call of her co-worker Eddie brought her out of her reverie.
“What?” She replied almost instantly after being lost in thoughts for a couple of minutes.
“I’m clocking out…wish you a happy weekend and congratulations for scoring another successful project” Eddie smiled, flashing his deep set of dimples that get Riley each time.
“Thanks, Ed” Riley replied gratefully with a warm smile that had Eddie turning bright with colour. It’s another weekend, it’s the end of weekday and Riley couldn’t wait to be home with Kyle
