With my dad there, I manage to get even less done. He keeps asking questions about what I’m doing again and why I’m experimenting without having a test subject. Yeah, I know it doesn’t make sense. But if I go through the experiments, I’ll get an idea of what to do. Once I finally get to the idea of combining the elements, I feel completely lost. There’s a reason why there are five separate elements, or if we count the original ones, ten. Some of them don’t go together. Think of them as two same poles of magnets. Two north poles can’t stick together. It’s a well-known magical rule. Water and fire don’t go together. Air and earth don’t either. They push each other apart.
