We get to our friends and start our little combat. This time, we involve magic. But we play around with other elements, not with blood. It’s too dangerous, and can become a little unpredictable. That’s why we always avoid using it on each other.
Soon enough, we get joined by Jake and Katie, along with Jake’s parents. They all stride closer to us, watching us fight. Or specifically, watching me and my boyfriend fight each other with a combination of physical blows and magic.
By the time I throw Cyrus to the ground and clench him into my grip, we’re both breathing heavily. But I don’t have the last word, because he attacks me with a fire spell, making me catch on fire. It’s the unharmful one, but still, I have to pour water over myself, while he manages to get up from the ground.
