I had set my alarm early so that I could spend a little time with Max before we headed to the house. It was time well spent and when I left his room to go back to mine, I was smiling from ear to ear. Skylar was just starting to wake up when I got to the bedroom and she lazily smiled as she groggily said, "Are you ready to officially move into our new home?"
"Hell yes," I happily exclaimed as I gave her spirit fingers. No, I was never a cheerleader, but Skylar was when we were in middle school.
Instantly she gave me spirit fingers back as she laughed. Once she finished laughing, she sounded good and awake as she cheerfully said, "Let's do this."
We quickly got changed and pulled our hair into pony tails before I packed up the stuff in the bathroom, then helped Skyla
