Chapter 17Monday
Reed let Jamie and Bull go early on Monday so they could stop at Jamie’s condo to get some more of his clothing and other things he needed to stay longer at Bull’s house. Jamie picked up Misch’s basket and his pillow.
“Why does he need so many beds?” Bull asked Jamie.
“Because he wants to be able to sleep in any room where we are and he likes to do that in one of his beds,” Jamie answered while he took one more look around the condo to make sure he didn’t forget anything. They armed the alarm, locked the door, and took the elevator downstairs. Jamie got his mail from his mailbox and they carried Jamie’s things to the SUV.
They were in the Suburban when Bull told Jamie, “I’ll give you your daily discipline when we get home.”
“Yes, Sir. Permission to speak freely, Sir?”
