Chapter 20Bull got dressed and left the house without another word. Jamie showered and waited for Brian and Jim. Junior showed up a half hour later and said he was taking Jamie to Jim’s house and that Brian, Jim, and Greg would all be there. Jamie teared up. He had good friends. Soon he was walking into the bright country kitchen at Jim’s house.
Brian and Jim were waiting with open arms. Brian put his arm around Jamie’s neck and said, “What happened, Jamie? What did he do?”
Jamie broke down in tears. He had a hard time relating the story to his three friends. When he finished, Jim looked murderous, Brian upset and, Greg very concerned.
