Ash stormed into his sister’s room to find her sitting on the couch, her legs pulled up to her chest and her arms resting with a faraway look as she stared at her Mac on her bed, with an episode of The Big Bang Theory playing.
“Why was Scar here?”
She looked up at him, and she gave him a tired smile. She nodded over to the lavender in the corner of the floor. “He dropped off my lavender for me.”
“At six am?”
She shrugged, “he was awake; I was awake. So, he stopped by.”
“Liv,” he said, sighing as he walked over and sat beside her. “What’s going on?”
“Nothing.”
He scowled at her. “Don’t you lie to me?”
