Arora looks around the council chamber and takes a moment to compose herself before presenting the changes to the new law. To her surprise, she doesn’t see her father anywhere, and it gives her some confidence. After her presentation, there are a couple of questions, some changes are suggested, and as expected there are a couple of murmurs, but getting the revisions approved by the council is easier than she thought it would be, and the council chambers vote to approve it without objections.
Out of the blue, a huge thud hits the window, silencing the entire room before they adjourn for the day. Someone runs to see what happened, and Arora looks around to see what is going on when she hears someone mention a crow.
“A crow?” She looks in Dremon’s direction as chills run down her spine. Cro
