Williams’ P.O.V.
“Good afternoon, Mr Nash”, I was surprised to see Mia Anderson in the bidding meeting. I immediately took her hand in a shake that she had raised towards me. “Good afternoon, Ms Anderson. What a pleasant surprise to see you here”, I said in a calm and composed tone. “Same goes with me, Mr Nash. I didn’t expect you here”, she smiled and I nodded with a small smile. “Shall we?” I opened the door of the meeting room for her. “Thanks”, she tilted her head a bit and then entered the room. I followed her and then we both went to our assigned seats. I looked towards the seat assigned to Vanessa’s company and found Jack sitting with Vanessa’s PA, Nicky Hunter.
Jack bowed a little to greet me and I did the same. I was grateful that Vanessa was not here or else it would be awkward
