Vanessa’s P.O.V.
I looked at the retreating figure of Pamela until she vanished from my eyesight. She thought that I couldn’t get an idea of what she was doing. She was trying to give me and Ethan some alone time so that he could convince me about divorcing William and marrying him. Ethan was a good boy and I knew that she would keep his girlfriend or be happy but that girl couldn’t be me.
“Where are we going, Ethan?” I asked him and he gave me his smile. “I said that it’s a surprise for you”, he once again said the same thing. I was a little bit irritated by his answer now. He clearly knew that I didn’t like surprises still he chose to surprise me. I looked outside the window and thought about what happened last night.
