"Hawaii?" Jayla asks.
I nod and look between my brother and Will. I need to cool off and even though it's been two
days since Trent came, he's all I've been thinking about. I need to take a few days for myself. A
vacation is the only clear answer.
"Two weeks. All of us and and the island of dreams."
"Nobody calls it that," Spencer says.
I wave my hand and hold up the passports.
"Please..."
"I'm in," Jayla says.
I knew she would be.
Will and Spence are harder to convince, but they crack nonetheless.
"We leave tomorrow," I say handing them tickets.
"You knew we'd say yes," Will grumbles.
"Sure did."

And that's how we ended up in Hawaii.
"I didn't think this through," I mumble hiding under the towel at the beach. Spencer somehow got
dark hair and tan skin, whereas I have the sensitive vampire skin that burns in less than three
minutes.
Even Will is over there tanning whilst I cower in defeat. No amount of sunscreen can help me
now.
"Girl, ask for an umbrella," Jayla says as if she's solved all my problems.
I scoff and poke my head out with a hiss at the bright light known as the sun.
"You think I haven't tried that? The very reflection of the sun off of the sand burns me. I can sit
in the shade for thirty minutes and still come out with sun poisoning!"
Jayla rolls her eyes and slides on her sunglasses. She doesn't even need sunscreen. Lucky b***h.
It's going to be a long week if I can't find SPF 100. Tomorrow we're going zip lining, then we're
going rock climbing the next day, and the day after than we'll be swimming with dolphins.
This is just the relaxtion I needed and I don't think I could be anymore calm, at least until we all
find out that we didn't set up camp far enough away from the water.
All of us squeal like we're dying as water rushes up under us, thus soaking my towel and
rendering it useless in my battle against the sun.
"Next time, we go to Antarctica," I say in an irritated tone. No threat of the sun there when there
are only a few days or weeks of daylight a year.
