Chapter 22 Kim forced herself to look away from the terror and shock on Steph’s face, to concentrate on what had to be an antique spiral-bound notebook she’d found as she wandered the basement. It seemed a shame to mark up the slightly yellowed pages, just over the length and half the width of her hand. But trying to keep up with the flood of names and dates on her phone would be impossible. Nearly as impossible as pretending she didn’t know exactly what disturbed Steph just now.
