Rumors always travel fast in a small town. Everyone is quick to spread them. No one bothers to check the facts. They rarely go to the source. Tears fill my eyes as I look at my phone. I've received numerous messages. No one wants the truth. It's easier to believe those that lie, but the truth always comes out.
I look out the window and watch as bird flies down to the feeder. It must be much easier to be a bird. They fly and sing. No one questions what they do.
