Ella’s POV
“Bye Dad,” I said.
“Bye baby… have a great day,” he said, making me glance back at him through the open car window.
“You too,” I added.
I then send him a slight smile which he reciprocated before speeding off.
As soon as my Dad’s car sped off, I turned and started walking up towards our school’s entrance. Today was a fine morning and I could see fellow students everywhere also walking into school.
Even though I was pretending like everything was fine, I still couldn’t get over the events of last night at that crazy party that Phoenix took me to.
Hmm… thinking of Phoenix made me smile slightly to myself as I continued walking. I however remembered that he and I had not ended last night on a very good note. I had literally blown him off when he asked me what was happening
