“Come on,” he grabbed her by her arm.
“Where? You are hurting me!” Egan protested, but he knew her better than that.
Storming into the library, the doors bashed open, and he almost threw her into the room.
“Apologize to your Queen!” His anger burned in his eyes.
“Brenton, what are you doing here!” Kaida jumped up from the chair in front of the fireplace, seeing the girl who had been talking behind her back, she immediately looked away.
“Did you come here to humiliate me further! Well, I don’t want to hear it!” She walked over to the window, and looked out on the square where dragons were moving back and forth attending to their daily business.
“Frankly, I don’t care what you want to hear. This girl is going to tell you the truth. Now speak, Egan!” He shouted.
