The human kid is taking this entire story quite lightly for someone who’s just been introduced to our world of madness. I mean, yeah, his bright eyes are impossibly wide, he looks like he’s about to faint, and he did just ask if his f*ucking cat is also a shifter, but all things considered, he’s cool.
“Nah, man, he’s just a cat,” I tell him, deciding to put him out of his misery. The sigh that leaves him is more than apparent. “Demir Aslan though, now he’s a cat shifter,” I add, just to see his eyes bug out again, getting some kind of sick satisfaction that for once he’s not in total control of himself and his demeanour.
“Lion shifter,” Grey grunts. “Stop messing with him.”
