Quinn I slide downstairs lazily, feeling just a little betrayed by Ruffles. The guy’s not even sparing a glance in my direction as if I am the traitor. Well, I guess we both are. While I went cuddling with one of the Valentine brothers for purely selfish reasons, my cat decided to bond with the other one and stick it in my face. He’s even purring and showing his belly to this man who’s supposed to be a complete stranger to him, and he’s never done that before for the year and something since I’ve known him. “So, what’s wrong?” Mark asks without even looking up to meet my gaze.
