Pieces of fabric rained in a shower of confetti down on Viel's wolf form as his suit pants burst from his turning. I stared wide eyed, unbelieving.

The scarlet beast, Viel Lighthaven, glanced at me, his ruby red eyes blazing. We locked gazes for a moment and then he turned his attention back to the horde of demons in front of him.
