Maria used to tell me that it was senseless to go running in the rain. I'd ask her why, and she'd always say the same thing. Why bother? There's also plenty of rain over there. Back then, I didn't understand her, but now, I think I do. No matter how fast I run under the rain, or no matter how long I stay in it, I couldn't get anymore drenched. I was soaked as I can be, I should just probably enjoy it while it lasted. And that's what I did. I closed my eyes and waited for the rain to stop.
