"Are you sure that you are alright?" I asked Viel as we stepped out of the courtroom. My head was tilted up so that my eyes could meet with his as he was probably a foot taller than me. A slight numbing pain began at the back of my neck from looking up at him for too long, but I ignored it. It was miniscule compared to the agony that he'd just endured.
