Doctor Micheal was standing afar away from the bed, he smiled seeing a shocking expression on my face.

"Hello Annie, how are you feeling?" He asked with the same softer tone.

I was a little surprised as I was still taking my surroundings in!!!

"I am fine. But where I am? I remembered last time... I was in the hospital." As the thought surged in my mind, I remember my face. I instantly moved my hand on my face to find a badge or something but it was not there!!! I saw Michael watching me, I covered my face with both of my hands.

"Annie, you are in my apartment. It was not good for you to be in the hospital more, I brought you here with me when you lost consciousness, Dr. Rose come with me she changed your clothes. She was here for some time, she went away for her work." He explained it all, I remembered when they opened my bandages in the hospital. I was still covering my face, the ball of tears stuck in my throat.

It was painful to see pity in people's eyes, I can not tolerate this... I just want to die. I thought about it a hundred times, but I didn't dare to do it!!!

I was covering my face with my hands when two hands removed my hands, he took my face in his hands watching me in the eyes that were filled with salty water. I tried to move his hands away from my face but he grabbed it so gently again, I was upset with all the world.

I don't know why!!! But I start hating people around me. I don't want so many eyes on my face.

"Annie, listen to me!!!" He said I shook my head in a No manner, he smiled a little then said,

"Annie, I know it is very difficult for you, I can see that you are going from a very rough situation in your life. But it is not that bad times stuck with us, it will also pass by. You have to be strong!!!" He said encouraging me,

"Micheal, how can I be a strong girl with this face. I know people will feel pity for me, how will I face the world? I am string but I am broken. I have no one with me!!!" I said sobbing my tears are falling on his hands.

"Annie, I am with you as a friend forever... Not because I feel pity for you but because I saw a girl who can fight for herself, I will be by your side in everything you chose to do!!! But this is your fight. Annie, you have to fight for yourself alone. I can help you but I can not fight for you. It is you only you that can make the people pay for what they did!!! But first, you have to make yourself come out from this condition." He said then sighed a deep breath,

"Micheal, why are you doing this for me? I know your intentions are good. But I can not trust people anymore, I saw so much pain and hurt from my own people. Why?" I mouthed the question that was running in my kind from days. He looks towards me a pain covered his eyes, he looks down then grabbed my hand.

"Annie, I was in a relationship with a very beautiful girl. She was a beautiful doctor we both were in the same medical college, her name was Amber. We both fall in love, she was the most pure-hearted person I ever meet, we both decided to get married. Our wedding was a few days away when we have reported a case of a girl that was an acid victim. Amber gets involved in that case."

He said then look towards the window, his eyes were showing the pain.

"She treated the girl, but the girl was unable to tolerate the pain so she passed away, Amber decided to avenge the men who were the culprit of that girl, but the man was so powerful. Amber managed to compel his arrest, she was so happy about it... We both were happy as it was the day of our wedding!!!" He said Annie was listening to the pain in his voice.

"She was looking so beautiful!!! As I remember she looks likes you when I saw you in that wedding gown. But the man managed to get out he sends his men to kidnap Amber, but they were unable to do it... So when they got a chance they burned her face." He said a sob erupted from the man. He was crying tears were rolling on his face, a strong man was crying like a child in front of me, I put my hand on his shoulder.

"Micheal, I am sorry!!! But what happens? Where is she now?" She asked Micheal, he looks towards me then said in a painful voice.

"Annie, as you told you earlier, I saw worst cases than yours, Amber was unable to bear that pain she passed away, she got a heart attack at the time." He said A shock covered my body and face. I was looking at the man shocked, my eyes widen my body starts shaking, I feel numb.

"That is why!!! Annie when I saw you in the same situation. I was unable to control my self, I instantly take you with me." He said, but his voice was a bit calm!!!

"I can not let another girl's life ended. Annie, you remind me of Amber, she was also strong but she was not strong than you, you get out of your trauma. But Amber was unable to do it!!! Life is so precious Annie. I want you to come back to life. I want you to live it again, I want you to fight for yourselves. Please!!!" He almost pleaded in front of me.

"I will help you out!!! Just tell me what you want to do ahead, I will help you out in any situation." He said looking towards me, my mind was working. I feel like a sheet was covering my eyes and brain. Micheal riped that sheet off!!!

My figure was shaking, I thought about suicide a hundred times but I never thought how lucky I am!!! Micheal always told me that I am one lucky girl who came out from a very terrible state.

I never listened to him, but now when I know the reason behind it!!! I get it... How lucky girl I am!!! I am still alive, I can do so many things in my life.

I then look towards him, I have decided what I have to do, I have to be strong and powerful. I have to be so much tough that no man again can try to touch me.

"Micheal, I want to continue my studies. I want to complete my MBA, I will find myself a job. I want to be strong enough to face my brother, then I will get to other people who deceived me. But I don't have any place to live, so please can I love here for the time I found myself a home." I said with enthusiasm, Micheal gazed at my face then he took my hand in his, he motioned me to come with him.

I stand up from the bed then moved with him, he leads me in front of the dressing mirror, I was not watching at it, my eyes were drawn down on the floor.

Micheal then asks ma to look myself, I look in the mirror towards my face. First, I thought to cover it but after some time I just watched herself, Micheal moved away from me then he moved out of the room.

But I was standing there watching myself, no tears come in my eyes, no fear was on my face, there was no expression just my blank face. I then smiled at myself, I will fill that blank life with so many colors again... It will be the new beginning of my life. I promised myself!!!
