CH:4 New Friend

Annie p.o.v

I was sleeping peacefully, I felt like I was in heaven!!! All away from the pain. There are so many flowers, birds singing, the green grass, the scent of flowers was refreshing my soul, I inhaled the scent in my lungs. I was wearing a very beautiful gown walking on the green grass bare feet that give me much comfort.

I was in there when someone shook my shoulder lightly, I tried to remove the hand but it was not going... I don't want to come out of heaven.

But the hand again shook my shoulder, I opened my eyes to see the beautiful lady standing beside me, I tried to let in my surroundings, oh!!! The reality hit me hard. The smell of medicines hit my nostrils, I saw my self in a white hospital gown, Okay!!! I am in the hospital... Doctor Sophia is here for my morning check-up, it's been two months in here, my wounds are treated by them, I get with five surgeries. They didn't let me see my face yet, I get a few panic attacks but I get away from them, Doctor Micheal gave me some medicines for my anxiety, I was wondered that they took good care of me.

But what about my bills? Who will pay them? I don't know in which hospital I am? I was very worried about it!!! My parents don't know about me, what will be their reaction when I will get back home. I don't know!!!

All the thoughts were jumbling in my mind, I have to clear them off!!! So I share my thoughts with Doctor Micheal when he visited me, I told Doctor Micheal everything,

(Throwback to Annie Confession.)

Micheal is sitting beside her on the sofa, Annie's face was nervous, he held her hand.

"Miss. Annie, don't worry!!! I will listen to everything very calmly. If you are ready to tell me now, otherwise I can wait for you to willingly tell me, " he said it with a gentle tone.

Annie looks at his face, he looks like an angel!!! A savior of her, she has to tell him.

Annie told every single detail about her life to her, he was just listening to her very calm. When she told me about her marriage and her heartbreak!!! He looks at her face that was wet with tears.

"Annie, I can not believe this!!! People can be so cruel, how can they do it with your soul. They are monsters, not humans, they have to pay for it." He said, his teeth gritted with anger.

But then he made his composite back to normal, he hugged Annie lightly to give her comfort, that he is there for her...

Annie sobbed for some time but then she grasped herself,

"Annie, I am here for you. Anytime you need me just give me a call. Also, you have to think about what will you do when you get out of here? It will not be easy for you but you have to think about your future. The baby in your womb need a strong woman that can fight with the world for her, I am always there for you not as a doctor but also as a friend." He said in a serious tone, she nodded her head.

He standup from the sofa, it's his duty time so he has to go check other patients, he turned around when Annie called her,

"Doctor Micheal, one more thing!!!" She said fiddling with her fingers, he looks at the cute girl looking him with some worry in her eyes.

He nodded his head, so she can speak her thoughts to him.

"The thing is..." She trailed off so he came near her sitting beside her, he grabbed her hand then said.

"You can share anything, don't worry!!! Say it." He said,

"I am here in the hospital for more than a month, what about my bills? I am not able to pay my bills. My parents don't know about my state. I don't know how will they react? The thing is I just don't want to go face them like this..." She said then stopped at her words.

Micheal looks at her face, this girl is wonderful!!! She is thinking to pay her bills in the state she is right now... People get mad when they face anything like this... But her will power is much stronger.

"Annie, don't worry about your bills. I am the owner of this hospital." He said Annie, look his face as he just cracked a joke but he looks serious.

"You.. Owner?" She asked he giggled at her shocked expressions,

"Yes, my father was the owner of this hospital. One year ago when he passed away the hospital is handed me, so I am the owner. Also, we treat the acid burns for free... We didn't charge bills, so don't worry about it!!! Also, I will not force you to go to your parents, I want you to get ready for everything to face your enemies. It will be good if you be hideous for some time..." He said to her, Annie understands what he is saying, so she nodded her head. After that, he gets out of the room left her behind to think about her future.

After that we both get along well after my confession, he is a very good man. He always encouraged me, we become more like friends.

When I told him about all the things, he thought it for some time, then asked me what I want to do? I was blanked at that time, so he gave me time to think about it!!! I spent days thinking about what to do? But nothing comes in my mind. I was just blanked, all my thoughts vanished away, my mind is empty.

But I have to do something, I have to get out from here, Micheal is right. I have to face the world but first I have to be much stronger.

"Good Morning, Miss. Annie, how are you feeling today?" She asked in his sweet tone, she is always so gentle and humble.

I yawned covering my mouth with my hand.

"I am fine, Sophia how are you? I asked her, she smiled that means she is fine.

" Miss. Annie, here is your juice and medicines. I want you to take them now, Doctor Micheal is coming back today, we will open your face bandages today, after that you will be discharged." she said to me smiling, I gulped the juice then took my medicine.

I saw her. My face covered in nervousness,

"It is the day?" I asked from her, she nodded her head. I sighed heavily.

"When is Micheal coming back?" I asked from her, she thought it for some time then said,

"In the evening, The doctor called early in the morning so we will get ready for your last bandages to open, you take some rest. I will go check some more patients," she said, I nodded my head. She gets out of the room.

Micheal was gone out of the country for some of his work, he went about a week ago, he is coming back...

It will be my last day in this hospital, I have to get out from here... But where will I go? I don't know!!! I don't have a place to go to... I can not go to that house.

What will I do now? I thought about it for some Tim, Micheal told me to decide about my future... What will I do? I have to think now, I can not go back to my house.
