Kane’s POV
I think I am losing it. I have felt a pull to Sophia since I saw her for the first time laying on the ground bloody, beaten and naked. It wasn’t a mate pull, but it wasn’t the Luna pull either. It was confusing the f**k out of me. I wanted to protect and cherish her, but I didn’t want to mate her either. At least I don’t think so. She is beautiful. I have gotten so pissed off with Xander several times I have had to walk away. He is rejecting the best thing to ever happen to him, and I want to kill him for it.
Sophia was in her room next to mine, and I wanted to go spend the day with her. I felt the need to be around her and make sure she was comfortable and eating and resting.
I went to her door and knocked and then let myself in, as I knew she wouldn’t answer.
