I looked down at the cup in my hands. "I rejected him," I muttered as I took another sip of my drink. I looked back up to see Winter staring at me with her eyes wide.
"You rejected him? What did he do?"
I glanced out the window and watched people walk by. I watched as couples walked to each other and pups running around.
"He doesn't want me, only my body. I don't want commitment," I stated before adding quietly, "At least I thought I didn't." I sighed not really knowing what I wanted anymore. My life was too complicated and screwed up. I would kill to have a normal life.
"Give it sometime, Jasmine. I'm sure he'll realize what he's missing and being with a mate is the best feeling in the world," Winter assured me. I nodded my head not wanting to say anything.
