Breakfast was awkward. I sat in my chair picking at my food, glancing at Parker every few seconds to see him looking at me. I was still thinking about the night before every time I looked at him. "Is something wrong?" Parker asked from his spot across from me. I didn't look up from my food but shook my head no. He didn't say anything else. The air around us was tense and awkward. All you could hear was the sound of our silverware hitting the plates and our chewing.
