If you’re going to be sending longing looks at Grace for the whole flight, you’re just asking for trouble,” Lucas scoffed from his seat across from mine. I snapped by gaze away from Grace’s sleeping form, caught red-handed in the act. s**t, he was right. I had to more careful with Grace, especially when Kingsley was around, like he was then at the other end of the private jet. It was just hard not to look at Grace when I couldn’t stop thinking about her, as cheesy as that sounds. We had spent the previous night talking and kissing on the hotel couch until Grace had fallen asleep because it had gotten so late. I had carried her to her bed and tucked her under the covers, all the while wondering if nights like that would be possible
