Skylar was startled awake by David and moaning and groaning. She rolled over and checked the time on her phone. It was 4am. She sat up and rubbed her eyes. She decided to go and check on David. She slid out of bed and knelt on the floor next to him. He was sweating and his face kept cringing. Skylar touched her hand to his forehead and closed her eyes. Through her touch and her sending calming vibes, his face became peaceful.
All of a sudden a growl ripped through his throat and he bolted upright making his head collide with Skylar's head.
